The choir was officially formed in July 2007 when Rev. Dr. Kwame Amoah-Kuma assumed office as the Organizing Minister. Attempts to form a standing Choir had a lot of setbacks ranging from the lack of permanent musicians to developmental struggles of the Church at the time.

The choir was successfully inaugurated on August 10, 2008 and has continued to grow in number and quality. Special mention must be made of Elder Edward Mensah through whose instrumentality the choir has come this far.

A few individuals who deserve commendation for their selfless role in ensuring the growth of the Choir include;

• Mr. Bright Amankwah, of the United Ghana Methodist Church
• Mr. Ishmael K Hodanu (Organist) as well as
• Mr. Maxwell Osam (Choirmaster).

The Choir meets every Saturday at 7:00pm for rehearsals.
